Masterpiece Star Saber Stands Behind His G1 Toy
The designer of Masterpiece Star Saber posted a photo of it standing behind the original G1 Star Saber. The new figure is a little larger and more massive in every direction. The crew compares the G1 toy to Powermaster Optimus Prime in size. Talk turns to the long Victory Saber combining stock footage, which Don calls filler time. [Source: not found]
Q-Transformers Remake Mystery of Convoy for Mobile
A mobile version of the Famicom game Mystery of Convoy uses Q-Transformers designs. It becomes an endless runner where players control only jumping and attacking. The crew says it has to be more playable than the original. [Source: not found]
Lio Convoy Is the 2015 Collectors’ Club Membership Figure
The Transformers Collectors’ Club’s free 2015 membership figure is Lio Convoy. Rob admits the fan in him is excited anyway, even if the mold is a white Optimus Prime. The crew argues over whether the original or the Robot Masters Lio Convoy is better. They love that the truck mode’s panels and painted nose form a lion’s head. Brian also has word that the next Subscription Service figure ships soon. [Source: not found]

Hasbro Toy Shop Posts the San Diego Comic-Con Exclusives
Hasbro Toy Shop finally posted its San Diego Comic-Con exclusives the following Monday. Everything sold out except the Knights of Unicron set, the priciest and most niche item. TFC Toys Star Rescue Team Dinosaur Combiner

Q&A with Rob Springer
Rob takes questions live this week. Scott from Good Morning Cybertron asks about Iron Factory’s Legends-size Ultra Magnus. Rob has not seen it, but he loves the Legends size class and might buy these. He just wishes Hasbro would pick one name for the size class and stick with it.
Transfanatics asks about reissues of the 2001 Robots in Disguise toys when the new series arrives. The crew calls the chances slim, since the Car Brothers molds are gone and the Spy Changers are worn out. A planned Asian-exclusive reissue of Robots in Disguise Optimus Prime was canceled. Don defends that Optimus Prime, but nobody defends the Robots in Disguise Ultra Magnus. Don would love Masterpiece Prowl, Sideburn and X-Brawn. One host notes that the Age of Extinction one-step Roll Bar’s robot mode is clearly X-Brawn.
Sky-Byte and Roadbuster Reviews
Diecast’s video reviews of Generations Sky-Byte and Roadbuster go up on the site. Roadbuster is good, but Diecast calls Sky-Byte over-engineered. Rob finally opened Age of Extinction Slash and says he is not good, but not horrible.
This Week in History
John Moschitta, the voice of Blurr, was born in 1954. Don recalls Moschitta telling a BotCon crowd why another man’s fast-talker claim did not count. Ten years ago this week, Dreamwave released Micromasters number 2 in the US. The crew calls the series a mishandled comic from every angle, with one host saying the third issue gave him a migraine.
