Transformers Siege Greenlight and Dazlestrike Revealed
Greenlight is a retool of Moonracer with a new head, shins, feet and solid forearms. She is a combiner limb, and the crew notes the combined team still needs one more member. Greenlight and Lancer were unnamed background characters in the cartoon. Dazlestrike is a redeco of Lionizer, and one host loves the name. Don had been told Siege would not get more combiner limbs. The others answer that this release is clearly not a regular mainline toy. One host sees it as more proof Power of the Primes was meant to run longer. Another host lists past unused alternate parts, from Voyager Lugnut heads to Combiner Wars Demolisher. [Source: TFormers]
New IDW Transformers Comic: Cybertron Before the War
Brian Ruckley writes the new series, which ships twice a month starting in March. Ron Joseph and Angel Hernandez alternate on art, and Casey Coller draws a cover. The story is set before the war on Cybertron. One host is still upset the previous ongoing books ended but will give it a try. Another notes Chris Ryall is back, which bodes well. The crew also spots that Optimus Prime looks like the Siege Leader Ultra Magnus body. [Source: TFormers]
Bumblebee Movie Optimus Prime Studio Series Figure Image
Package photos confirm a Studio Series Optimus Prime in his Cybertron mode from the Bumblebee movie. Don is tired of buying the same G1 characters, and several hosts share that character fatigue. Others like that it will not look out of place beside classic-style toys. One host plans to make this his Optimus Prime of the year. [Source: TFormers]
Walmart Exclusive Reissue G1 Optimus Prime
Walmart’s G1 Optimus Prime reissue comes without a trailer. Diecast guessed $29.99, but a BrickSeek lookup shows $49.97. It includes only fists and two rifles, so the crew thinks it should have had an extra like the metal Matrix. One host hopes Walmart discounts it the way it has Hot Rod. [Source: TFormers]
Rumor: Generations Selects G2 Megatron
A rumor says Generations Selects could repaint Siege Megatron in G2 colors. One host would buy it instantly. Another host notes the rumor rests on a single anecdotal report. [Source: not found]

Siege Ultra Magnus and Shockwave, Plus Studio Series, from Gamer Party 2018
New photos do not help Siege Ultra Magnus. The crew dislikes the weathering on his shins and his slight smile. Several hosts plan to pass despite loving the Car Robots-style cab. Shockwave fares much better as a solid Voyager with a great spaceship mode. The photos also show the Studio Series World War II Bumblebee. [Source: TFormers]
Toyworld Christmas Exhaust Unofficial Legends-Scale Figure
Toyworld’s holiday Exhaust swaps half of its decals for Christmas markings, including 12-25 on the doors. It keeps the rest of its cigarette-brand markings. One host preordered it before the deco was shown and loves it. Another host expects more third-party Legends-scale figures as mainline prices keep rising. [Source: TFormers]
Magic Square MS-01 Optimus Prime Stop-Motion Animation
Magic Square’s two-minute stop-motion video shows its Masterpiece-scale Optimus Prime and teases a Legends-scale one. Don hoped for a fresh transformation, but it looks close to MP-10. What We Got This Week
Jason found the G1 reissue Bumblebee at Walmart, shelved near sporting goods rather than toys.
Don got the Toys R Us exclusive Optimal Optimus. Through a Facebook group buy he got a Bumblebee set with Dinobot cassettes. His big purchase is Perfect Effect’s Mega Dragon, a Transmetal 2 Megatron, for about $150 shipped. He calls it a damn good-looking figure, even though he already owns the Fans Hobby version.
Diecast got a giant third-party Optimus Prime in the MP-10 style. It cut his thumb during transformation and has some simplified parts. The torso alone is as tall as a Masterpiece figure, and it dwarfs Masterpiece Bumblebee.
Matt had nothing in Transformers this week.
Chris got Studio Series Dropkick from his wish list, courtesy of Paladin. He finds it fills out the package better than he expected.
John DeLuna got three Siege Micromaster two-packs. He finds $30 hard to pay for that much toy but likes the sword mode.
