Generations Deluxe Wreck-Gar Revealed
The Collectors’ Club magazine shows Generations Deluxe Wreck-Gar, a day after a Walmart listing leaked the name. Exvee is thrilled, and the crew jokes about buying two so one can ride the other. They expect a Junkion troop-builder repaint to follow. [Source: not found]
Laser Optimus Prime-Inspired Generations Deluxe Optimus
A Generations Deluxe Optimus Prime inspired by G2 Laser Optimus Prime came out of nowhere. Exvee wishes it carried G2 Autobot symbols, but is glad for a new Deluxe Optimus mold to replace the old Classics one. The crew pitches repaints as Black Convoy and Laser Ultra Magnus. [Source: not found]
More Generations: Cliffjumper, Skullgrin, Thunderwing, Trailbreaker
War for Cybertron Cliffjumper gets a new head, which Rob may put on his Classics Cliffjumper. Skullgrin on the Darkmount mold nods to both his Pretender shell and robot, and Thunderwing could easily become Tigerhawk. Trailbreaker gets a modern take on his deco, and the Legends version is called Trailcutter. The magazine also shows Scourge’s vehicle mode, Perceptor and Jazz. Exvee calls it the best time ever to be a Transformers fan, and the crew agrees Generations far outclasses Universe. [Source: not found]
Masterpiece Rodimus Coming to the US Without Its Trailer
In the club magazine, Hasbro confirmed Masterpiece Rodimus will come to the US without the trailer but with its own unique accessories. Official Takara photos show a retractable visor in Hot Rod mode and a Matrix compartment, though the flames do not open. Brian will buy the Japanese version and the US one. [Source: not found]

This Day in History
On September 21, 2006, the second Kiss Players manga was published. Rob recalls accusing Greg Sepelak of lying when he first described it. On September 21, 2007, the live-action movie began its IMAX run with extra scenes.
TFWiki Spotlight: Wheelie
Chris McFeely spotlights TFWiki’s G1 Wheelie article, written entirely in rhyme. He first opposed keeping the rhymes as the article grew, but credits editor Dr. Spangler for rhyming Wheelie’s whole Headmasters run without losing information. The article covers his cartoon, comic, storybook and toy appearances, and even the notes rhyme.
Comics With LadyWreck
IDW’s December solicits add Foundation, a Transformers 3 prequel about the Optimus and Megatron rivalry. Also coming are trades of Ironhide and ongoing #7-12 as International Incident, a Best of Starscream collection and ongoing #14, where two Autobots fall. Brian just got the Last Stand of the Wreckers trade, and Aimee calls it IDW’s best.
Aimee liked Drift #2’s art but sees plot holes starting to show. Writer Shane McCarthy addressed fan accusations on his blog. The Underbase interviewed colorist Joana Lafuente of Ironhide and Spotlight Drift.
Review: War for Cybertron Soundwave
Paladin calls War for Cybertron Soundwave the fourth and likely final War for Cybertron figure in Generations. The Cybertronian SUV with teeth is okay, and the robot mode recreates the 1984 head, chest and weapons, with guns that store in his chest like cassettes. His biggest flaw is no cassette partner. Paladin gives him a mild recommendation, mostly to finish the set.
Twitter Theater and Contest
Rob’s pick is a subtitled Japanese Victory ending in which Star Saber is sung about as a mischievous child. RFC’s Animated Rodimus Minor giveaway for YouTube subscribers has one week left.
