Optimus Prime Awakening Bumblebee leads this week’s Transformers preorders on There Goes My Money. Diecast hosts with patron host Alpha Magnus as TakaraTomy floods the zone with Age of the Primes repaints and MPG-27 Twincast brings Rewind along as bait. Spider-Bob, Don Ferguson, David, Shawn and Chris (Exvee) round out the panel.

The preorder window ran September 20 to October 4, 2026. Prices are before shipping and tax. Japanese prices convert at ¥1 = $0.006336 (October 4, 2026) and are approximate.

Transformers Preorders

Hasbro Studio Series

• Studio Series Optimus Prime Awakening Bumblebee: $29.99, November 2027 at Hasbro Pulse. This dark-deco deluxe brings an arm cannon. Exvee thinks the price anticipates another deluxe increase. The panel also chewed on a rumored Megatron fusion cannon roleplay piece with Frank Welker lines, around $199.

TakaraTomy Age of the Primes

Orders opened October 2 and close November 11, 2026. All ship late March 2027.

• AOTP-53 Guzzle: ¥7,150 (approx. $45.30). Guzzle repaints Brawl as the Wrecker tank. Don wonders about a Fall of Cybertron Wreckers tribute.
• AOTP-54 Cybershark: ¥7,150 (approx. $45.30). Cybershark reuses last year’s Sky-Byte mold. Exvee loves the mold but won’t pay full price.
• AOTP-55 Skyguard: ¥4,950 (approx. $31.36). Skyguard recolors Blast Off with a Cobra Commander-style dome.
• AOTP-56 Autobot Breakaway: ¥4,950 (approx. $31.36). Breakaway recolors Air Raid in blue with a new head. Both join Nexus Prime.
• AOTP-57 Alpha Bravo: ¥4,950 (approx. $31.36). Alpha Bravo recolors Vortex with a new head and slots into an Aerialbot team.
• AOTP-EX Powerlinx Red Alert + Mini-Con 8-Pack: ¥14,080 (approx. $89.21). Shawn already canceled the Hasbro version.

TakaraTomy Studio Series

• TS-44 Soundwave: ¥4,950 (approx. $31.36). This is the Transformers One High Guard Soundwave. Diecast keeps building his Transformers One shelf; Exvee says the line came too late.
• TS-45 Cyclonus: ¥7,150 (approx. $45.30). This is the ’86 Cyclonus everyone loves. Watch for the sprue mark on the waist.
• TS-46 Optimus Prime Evasion Mode: ¥7,150 (approx. $45.30). Rusty Age of Extinction Optimus Prime returns.

TakaraTomy T-SPARK and Exclusives

• Kiss Players 20th Anniversary Cassettebot set: ¥6,600 (approx. $41.82). U.S. prices drifted between $47.99 and $59.99.
• MPG-27 Twincast and Rewind: $199.99 at U.S. importers, ¥27,500 (approx. $174.24). Twincast ships late May 2027, before regular Masterpiece Blaster. Spider-Bob calls it a recolor of a toy that isn’t out yet.
• Dramatic Capture Series Dinobot Island Part 2: $139.99. Slug and Sludge pair up. Don would rather fund the Missing Link anime Dinobots.
• NL-09 Dark Amber Leo Prime and Blue Bolt: $99.99 at BigBadToyStore. The set includes Navi.
• WKS-05 Optimus Link Prime + Five Animal Tribe Beasts: ¥19,800 (approx. $125.45) before import markup. The panel dubs this Energon-inspired release Jolly Rancher Prime.

Threezero MDLX

• MDLX Fallen Coronation Starscream: $125 for one very short moment.
• MDLX Hot Rod 1986 Movie Edition: $95. Don is in.
