TakaraTomy reveals Unite Warriors UW-06 Grand Galvatron, a combiner of lost souls gathered to resurrect Galvatron, and the crew loves it. Its limbs are a clear ghost Starscream, IDW’s Roller, Armada Thrust and Prime’s zombie Breakdown, with a cartoon Cyclonus torso. MP-20 Masterpiece Wheeljack gets a reissue, and TakaraTomy announces official display stands. MakeToys shows its Remaster Inferno, Hardhead and Grapple homages. The crew also shares the 2015 RFC holiday gift-giving guide.
This Week in History
In 1992, the Headmasters episode “Scorponok’s Weakness” aired in Malaysia with its infamous English dub. Don can’t stand the dub, while Brian loves it as unintentional comedy. Marvel Comics artist José Delbo was born this week in 1933. The crew defends Delbo’s long run on the comic.

Superhero Time’s after show has a Unite Warriors Galvatronus special. RFC Mini-cast 37 has John, Don and Brian rethinking dormant 80s properties through Transformers. On Being Awesome 37, Rob Springer talks Trypticon and Joelanta. On TFormers, Rob covers MakeToys’ upgrade kits, Planet X Vulcan photos, the Combaticon comic bios and his Battle Core Optimus Prime review.
What We Got This Week
Chris got Legends Buzzsaw, Shockwave and Chop Shop from Hasbro Toy Shop. Buzzsaw is the first Titans Return play-pattern toy, and its blocky wings are its main flaw. The bird head sculpt is nice, and he has high hopes for Titans Return Legends. Shockwave feels like a miniaturized deluxe and is about half clear plastic. His gun mode fits combiner hands so they appear to grip it.
