The Titans Return Chaos on Velocitron multipack turns up at a Toys R Us in Erie, Pennsylvania, for $100. TakaraTomy’s LG-43 Legends Trypticon shows off arms that can feed Titan Masters to its mouth. Leaked Last Knight Deluxes bring Megatron, Decepticon Nitro and the coppery Skullitron, likely as Toys R Us two-packs. Brian’s first FansToys figure, Sovereign, sparks a heated die-cast debate with Diecast.
Show Notes
Don is out sick, the first show without him in longer than anyone can remember. Next week Brian and Chris will be away, so a surprise guest host takes over.
Forged to Fight Pin Giveaway
Hasbro and Transformers: Forged to Fight sent the show an Autobot and Decepticon pin made by Pinny Arcade for PAX East. The crew will give it away in a Twitter contest, with the winner announced while Brian and Chris are away.
This Week in History
In 2008, Aveo Swerve goes on sale through Chevrolet’s websites in Switzerland and the United Arab Emirates for about 68 hours. Years later, Canadian Chevrolet dealers turned up with stock, which is why it now sells for $30 to $40. One host loves Transformers that turn into everyday cars. In 2010, Fun Publications reveals the first figure in the BotCon 2010 box set, Autobot Spark, also known as Pyro. Brian calls it the first BotCon set he ever bought and plans a Throwback Thursday share of the RFC episode that covered it.

New Generations Cyber Battalion Figures Surface: Prowl and Jetfire

Transformers Movie Series to Spark Off Hasbro’s Larger Move to Film, Including G.I. Joe Reboot

What We Got This Week
Diecast
Diecast got a heavy Taobao replica of the Allspark cube and BadCube’s Gears, the best Gears figure so far in his view. He finally shipped part four of Fans Project Dinoking and ordered parts five and six before they vanish. He defends FansToys Sovereign, Brian’s pickup this week, as one of his third-party figures of the year, with die-cast and plastic in the right places. He also got FansToys Grinder, and his full review is up. A die-cast replacement leg piece cracked his figure.
Brian
Brian got his first FansToys figure, Sovereign, and dislikes how bottom-heavy the die-cast makes it. He says he will stick with MakeToys and prefers Titans Return Galvatron. During the show he bought Legends Blurr on eBay.
