Rise of the Beasts toys keep leaking, led by a Studio Series Airazor built on Kingdom Airazor’s engineering and a GMC tow truck Battletrap. A Walmart-style mug gives the first look at the movie’s Maximals. Super7’s Ultimates wave two shows up in package, and Target listings point to a new Buzzworthy multipack plus EarthSpark Starscream and Grimlock. In a short Thanksgiving show, Chris reviews Legacy Inferno, Armada Starscream, Dead End and an early Legacy Scraphook.
The crew records early for Thanksgiving, keeping the show’s streak of never missing a Thanksgiving week. Brian also makes the Elf on a Shelf Warmer pitch for Black Friday shoppers: add a toy to your cart and drop it in a donation box, or use tfradio.net/elf. HasLab Deathsaurus sits at 10,434 backers with three weeks left.

Rise of the Beasts Mug Shows the Maximals
A mug spotted at retail shows Rhinox, Optimus Primal, Cheetor and Airazor with the Maximal logo. Brian’s early worries about the movie designs have eased, and the crew agrees they look like reasonable cinematic animals. [Source: Autobase Aichi]
Rise of the Beasts Studio Series Airazor Leaks
One host explains the earlier deluxe Airazor is the mainline movie toy. The mainline line was meant to fill the gap between Cyberverse and EarthSpark before the movie slipped, so both now release together. JT Prime says much of the Rise of the Beasts product is already in US ports and may reach stores before Christmas. This Studio Series version reuses Kingdom Airazor’s engineering in an all-new, larger toy. Another prefers the mainline one because he already owns Kingdom Airazor. [Source: Sonic Bomber, Facebook]
Rise of the Beasts Studio Series Voyager Battletrap
Battletrap is a GMC tow truck marked “Bernie’s Towing and Auto Body.” One host gets Power Core Combiners Huffer vibes, and another says it would not look out of place among the Junkions. Don finds no faction symbol, and Bromo notes Battletrap is a Terrorcon rather than a Decepticon. Blade Raider in chat would call a yellow version Hubcap. [Source: Sonic Bomber, Facebook]
Super7 Transformers Ultimates Wave Two In Package
Instagram video screenshots show Bludgeon, Tracks, Megatron and Grimlock, who comes with Wheelie. One host does not hate Bludgeon but says he does not look right. The crew notes Tracks lacks Raoul. Brian ordered the Optimus Prime from the next wave on an Entertainment Earth sale. [Source: TFW2005]
New Buzzworthy Multipack and EarthSpark Starscream and Grimlock Listed
Target’s system shows a Legacy Buzzworthy Bumblebee multipack with unknown contents, and Brian will buy it since it is Generations. Listings also reveal EarthSpark Deluxe Starscream and Grimlock. Brian says his kids love BotBots and EarthSpark. [Source: TFW2005 boards]
EarthSpark Warrior Class Thrash Stock Photos
One host calls Thrash a fine stand-in until a deluxe appears. Don relays a reviewer’s point that the $25 Warrior Class Megatron is hollower than a Studio Series deluxe at the same price. Another recalls Hasbro saying its deluxes are designed for eight-year-olds. [Source: In Demand Toys, Facebook]
What We Got This Week
Chris
Chris’s Legacy Dead End frustrated him so much he skipped last week’s show. The back of the car will not stay together, and a tab is missing on his copy, so it is going back. Legacy Armada Starscream needed an exchange for bad paint, and both copies have loose joints. He still loves how it captures the cartoon character and calls it better than the 2013 Generations deluxe. Legacy Inferno arrived with good QC and finishes the season one Beast Wars cast in Legacy. He also found an early Legacy Scraphook on eBay. Its transformation hinge at the elbow pops off too easily, but he calls it the best weaponizer-style toy yet.
Brian and Don also met up at a toy show in Raleigh, which they found disappointing for Transformers. Don hunted for R.E.D. Galvatron at a couple of Walmarts without luck.
