2024 Studio Series Inventory Listings
JTPrime posted a new batch of 2024 Studio Series listings. Several are labeled “Movie 6,” and Chris notes some may actually be Studio Series 86. The list includes Core Class Mohawk, Rumble and Starscream, Deluxe War for Cybertron Sideswipe, Transformers 7 Scorponok and Sunstreaker, and Voyager War for Cybertron Starscream. A Voyager Soundwave could really be Bumblebee movie Shockwave. Studio Series 86 Scrapheap and Leader Swoop are also listed. Chris doubts Movie 6 Starscream can work at Core Class. A Leader Movie 6 Megatron has everyone scratching their heads, since Megatron was not in the Bumblebee movie. Chris explains why a gun-mode Megatron is off the table at Hasbro, and Matt says he would lose his mind over a submarine Megatron. [Source: TFW2005]
2024 Legacy Inventory Listings
JTPrime also posted 2024 Legacy listings, with thanks to Voltrace. A Core and a Deluxe “Rock” have fans guessing Rock Lords. Matt offers a reach: early drafts of the 1986 movie made Lithone a planet of rock people. Other listings include Core Energon Megatron, Core Beast Wars Tasmania Kid, Deluxe Animated Bumblebee, Deluxe Rescue Bots Chase and Deluxe Cyberverse Windblade. Deluxe G1 Gears returns after being canceled from Kingdom, and Brian is thrilled by Deluxe G1 Sureshot. Rob suspects Deluxe Cyberverse Chromia is a retool of Legacy Arcee. [Source: TFW2005]
More R.E.D. Figures, Because You Didn’t Ask for It
Four new R.E.D. listings turned up: Grimlock and Prime Starscream, which would be new molds, plus Skywarp and Soundblaster repaints. The crew wonders whether Soundblaster gets a correct chest door. Brian has still never seen R.E.D. Galvatron or Shockwave in a store. The crew splits on whether Grimlock comes in robot or dinosaur mode. [Source: TFW2005]
Rise of the Beasts Studio Series Mirage First Look
The official Transformers Instagram showed Rise of the Beasts Mirage. The crew loves the Porsche car mode but is perplexed by the robot. Matt says it looks like a dollar-store knockoff. Diecast blames the Porsche license and an evolving movie design. Chris thinks the robot was Jazz at some point in development. [Source: Transformers Instagram]

What We Got This Week
Matt
Matt broke down and bought Retro G1 Starscream, purely for the colors. It is the first time he has handled the mold since childhood. Its remolded hands can hold the Megatron gun.
Don
Don’s wife gave him the 2022 Hallmark Optimus Prime ornament in animation colors. He also picked up EarthSpark Megatron at Walmart. His Walmart Retro Hot Rod preorder has been delayed twice, and the UPC will not scan.
Brian
Brian got boxed Takara G1 Headstrong, Tantrum, Divebomb and Rampage. That leaves only Razorclaw to complete his vintage G1 Predacons.
Diecast
Diecast opened Studio Series Cheetor and Core Class Arcee, though he wishes Arcee were a Deluxe. He also got Fans Hobby Double Dealer with purple wings and a small Omega Supreme with Japanese or Chinese lights and sounds. Nobody could name its maker. His big pickup is original pre-movie art of Blurr from eBay, for under $150. The crew has called Diecast “Blur” at conventions for years, since he tears off and vanishes.
