Transformers 10/27 Reveals: Stranger Things Code Red Pre-Orders

The 10/27 stream reminded fans of the Stranger Things collaborative Code Red, a Volkswagen T2 van at a $45 SRP. Chris stacked Target discounts to pre-order one for $19.48. Transformers Studio Series MCM London Reveals

Studio Series Concept Art Megatron is a triple changer. Chris says Sam Smith’s notes show the team chose both a jet and a tank, and both alt modes suffered. One host would leave it in robot mode, but nobody wants to pay about $60. Gamer Edition Starscream disappoints, and one host calls the 2010 Fall of Cybertron deluxe far better. Another says the new toy looks clunky next to it. Studio Series 86 Scrapheap draws praise for its bright colors and retooled motorcycle. Core Class Mohawk and Concept Art Rumble also appear, and Rumble oddly seems to wear Bruticus’s head. A deluxe Rise of the Beasts Wheeljack van rounds out the reveals. [Source: TFW2005]

What We Got This Week

Chris

Chris got the BotBots Out of Controller vehicle set through PandaStrong in the Discord. He mostly wanted the Kremzeek-style Megatron gun inside. The controller is nearly the size of a real Xbox controller.

Don

Don opened Studio Series Ratchet, his first time with that mold, and calls it very solid. He also got Dr. Wu’s Sand Leopard, a small third-party Sandstorm that he says is well engineered for a triple changer.
