Diecast was traveling in Grand Rapids, Michigan, so his pickups were waiting at home and went unshown.

Matt‘s only pickup this week was not Transformers.

Rob had nothing in Transformers this week.

John got the Target-exclusive Hot Rod on release day. He has heard about QC issues, including a copy with two matching forearms that affect the transformation. His forearms look right through the window, and he has not opened it yet.

Don got Studio Series Battle Damage Optimus Prime from The Transformers: The Movie. He will keep it boxed for his box shelf and notes the red looks deeper than his regular Studio Series 86 Optimus Prime. He also bought a complete set of reproduction G1 carded Combaticons with Onslaught for $140 shipped. The cheapest Encore gift set he found was $240. He admits the set is a knockoff and bought it purely for shelf presence, with the reflective logo reproduced. He also got Devastation Bumblebee from Amazon.

Brian took two McDonald’s Changeables from his kids’ Happy Meals: the display case and the McDonald’s bag. He finally opened Hot Wheels Transformers Twinmill and Boneshaker and wants the line to continue. He outfitted them with pink and clear laser rod swords from Nonnef Productions for his G2 shelf. The PR firm behind the Apology Tour video sent him a random Deluxe, Windcharger, which he had already bought on clearance. His Target One Shall Stand Optimus Prime arrived the next day, and he opened it. He calls it the Dark Awakening Optimus Prime, with chest cracks, rib and shoulder damage, a damaged face and a bent antenna. It might be his favorite toy of the year. Missing Link Nemesis Prime also arrived, and he loves the colors and the packaging. To expand his Dinobots, he added a loose Diaclone Slag from ArtFire2000 with minor chrome wear on the gun and sword.
