The Collectors Club reveals Thrustinator, a Waspinator figure with a new head that blends Waspinator and Thrust. Brian calls it just about the best thing ever. The crew recalls the Beast Machines twist that Thrust was Waspinator. One host wishes the wasp head on the chest had become a Thrust head too. One host jokes that Thrustinator is Brian’s Ultra Mammoth, and JD tweets a doctored photo of it. [Source: not found]
Perfect Effect Bludgeon and Overlord Upgrade Heads

Perfect Effect Warden, a Not-Fortress Maximus
Warden is a standalone not-Fortress Maximus based on his IDW role as a prison warden. It also becomes an optional head for Encore Fortress Maximus. The crew guesses it will cost at least $150. One host calls it a godsend for anyone with a Fort Max missing its head. [Source: not found]
Fans Project Diesel Priced at $120 Early Bird
Fans Project opens preorders for Diesel, its not-Motormaster, at an early-bird price of $120 until September 26. JD points out that Fans Project raised the limb prices to make Diesel cheaper, and Diesel is not cheaper. Don plays devil’s advocate, noting how many combiner parts Diesel carries. Diecast argues that at double the size, $120 is simply the normal price. Don and JD agree Fans Project needs better communication with fans about delays and pricing. [Source: not found]
KFC’s Not-Ultra Magnus Concept Revealed
KFC reveals concept art for a not-Masterpiece Ultra Magnus. One host thinks it looks like a scaled-up Titanium Ultra Magnus, which the crew calls garbage. They debate whether it will match MP-10 in size. [Source: not found]
X-Transbots Upgrade Kit for Fall of Cybertron Bruticus
X-Transbots shows an add-on kit that makes Fall of Cybertron Bruticus look more like G1, with spare parts forming a trailer for Onslaught. One host will buy it in purple. Don would need a second G2 Bruticus, since his stays sealed in its art-piece box. One host calls it exactly what third parties originally set out to do. [Source: not found]

Q&A with Rob Springer
Computron2 asks what the new Generations Bumblebee mold will be repainted as. Rob enjoys the toy but says its mismatched yellows make it look cheap. He suggests Nightbeat, Boss or Hurricane, and would most like a brand-new character.
Comic News with Aimee
Aimee sends birthday wishes to Nick Roche, Joana Lafuente and Andrew Griffith. Phil Jimenez discusses his role on Dark Cybertron. iBooks offers a $1 digital cover collection for More Than Meets the Eye and Robots in Disguise. Mairghread Scott confirms Beast Hunters ends with issue #8 in December. The December solicits continue Dark Cybertron in More Than Meets the Eye #24 and Robots in Disguise #24. ReGeneration One #97 and new trades round out the month.
Comic Review: ReGeneration One #0
The reviewers find issue #0 a welcome change, with classic-style coloring and no Andrew Wildman art. They note it mostly teases later events, such as Jhiaxus taking the Underbase’s knowledge, rather than moving the story. They worry Simon Furman is reusing old ideas, including a new stand-in for the Swarm.
Dueling Not-Weirdwolves
Diecast and Exvee compare Fans Project’s not-Weirdwolf. Diecast likes the head, the flip-down visor and both modes, and says it beats the G1 Weirdwolf he saw at RetroCon. Exvee worries the torso panels do not lock and the legs offer little wolf-mode articulation. He says Smart Robin will decide whether he continues with the line. Both praise the clamshell packaging, which they wish the Collectors Club would copy.
What We Got This Week
Diecast got Fans Project’s not-Weirdwolf and found it a decent figure in both modes.
Exvee also got the not-Weirdwolf and regretted it a little at first, though he likes its look.
