Hasbro Pulse Con lands on the same October weekend as TFCon, and TFCon plans to stream it in a panel room. In the haul, Matt loves Commander Class Rodimus Prime, and a Patreon supporter sends Brian a carded Tripredacus Agent.

Super7 Transformers Ultimates Wave 2 Prototypes
Super7 showed painted prototypes of Transformers Ultimates Wave 2, a hand-finished stage made before mass production. The figures follow the Super7 house style. One host thinks the three non-Grimlock figures look a little iffy, but Grimlock looks great. At seven-inch scale, the crew guesses Grimlock stands around eight and a half to nine inches. One host is getting only Tracks for now and is undecided on Bludgeon. Another would rather buy a Pop Culture Shock Grimlock statue, which costs less than the Ultimates figure. Wave 1 is moving along too, now at the gypsum prototype stage used to build the steel tools. [Source: Autobase Aichi]
Walmart Exclusive Subline Leak
Chris spotted a leak that got lost among other news: a new Walmart exclusive subline in the vein of the Netflix line. It reportedly has eight figures: five Deluxes, two Voyagers and one Leader. The Leader is said to be Robots in Disguise 2001 Scourge. The mix is described as one Robots in Disguise, one G2, two Unicron Trilogy, two Diaclone and two G1. Strong hints point to Road Rocket, Hauler and Cybertron Override. One host reads Scourge as a sign that Laser Optimus Prime will be an early Legacy Leader. The crew guesses Road Rocket is the G2 pick, possibly retooled from the upcoming Transformers Prime Arcee. Wish lists include a black Diaclone Ironhide, Reboost, Loudpedal on the Tracks mold, and Sunstorm to pair with Hauler. The leakers expect at least some of it to be scalper bait. [Source: not found]
Hasbro Pulse Con 2021 Dates Announced
Hasbro Pulse Con returns October 22 and 23, the same weekend as TFCon. TFCon plans to run parts of the stream in a panel room, and the crew calls that a smart solution. The crew sorts out how Pulse Con differs from the spring Hasbro Pulse Fan Fest. One host enjoyed Fan Fest more and is less excited for Pulse Con. The next Fan First Friday is also set for this Friday, now that the Galactus HasLab has funded. The crew does not expect 2022 reveals until Pulse Con. [Source: Laughing Place]
What We Got This Week
Matt got Kingdom Red Alert from Hasbro Pulse and likes it more than expected, since the car mode differs from the Siege mold. He also got Selects G2 Ramjet, whose colors he adores. His biggest pickup is Commander Class Rodimus Prime. The transformation is a little complex but fun, and the trailer feels beefier than Optimus Prime’s. His only complaints are the limited shoulders and a trailer that will not close over the cannon.
Don got a Bumblebee Cyberverse Adventures calendar from Dollar Tree, a gift from his fiancée.
Rob had only a non-Transformers pickup this week.
John finally got Selects Galvatron after tiring of waiting. It has the wrong shoulders, but he does not mind. His parents also returned boxes of his childhood toys, including the gun from his G1 Hot Rod. The figure itself has disintegrated, but he is keeping the gun on his desk.
Brian found licensed Rubie’s masks of Robots in Disguise 2001 Optimus Prime and Megatron, and nobody on the crew knew the Megatron mask existed. He also got Transformers Cloud Shockwave and loves the purple. Patron Sean Hamilton sent him a carded Walmart exclusive Tripredacus Agent and a boxed Armada Optimus Prime with its CD.
