Amazon Prime Day Underwhelms
Prime Day felt more like a clearance sale to the crew. Legends Groove dropped to $10.99 and Voyager Roadbuster to $13. A lightning deal on the Platinum Edition Astrotrain and Blitzwing two-pack was fully claimed in under two minutes.
Fans Toys is reissuing Quakewave, its Shockwave homage, in toy and cartoon colors at about $155 each. A transparent version is limited to about 800 pieces, at close to $200. The original sold for over $400 on the secondary market. Don skipped Quakewave because Shockwave is not a character he needs to upgrade. One host fears the clear plastic could crack. On TFormers This Week

What We Got This Week
Chris found a loose Legends Groove for $5.
Don found the hard-to-find Age of Extinction Power Battlers Junkheap dump truck at Ross after weeks of searching.
Diecast opened MakeToys Utopia and likes it, and posted photos on Twitter.
Brian got the LG-EX Black Convoy, the Tokyo Toy Show exclusive. Next to the Collectors’ Club Scourge, each has paint the other lacks, and neither is clearly better. He also got MakeToys Cupola, which stands to Ultra Magnus’s shoulders. The robot mode is gallery-worthy, but he could not get the panels and pegs into vehicle mode. He calls it beautiful but too pricey to buy another.
John got the LG-EX Armada Megatron, the only way to get Armada Megatron on this mold. He also has a fresh Titan Class Devastator, which he calls impressive but hit and miss.
