PulseCon’s Kingdom panel reveals that the Titan Class Ark’s robot mode is the Last Autobot from the Marvel comics. It also gives first looks at core class Vertebreak and Optimus Prime and a clean, backpack-free Cyclonus. The Transformers Prime 10th anniversary two-pack lands at a shocking $40, with Hades Megatron at $30. TakaraTomy announces a G1 Megatron water pistol, and Combiner Wars Devastator returns as an Amazon exclusive. Rob and Diecast open the Quintesson Pit of Judgment, and John takes on Masterpiece Tigatron.

PulseCon: Transformers Kingdom Reveals
PulseCon opened its Transformers coverage with a long look back at the Netflix War for Cybertron Siege series. One host found it interminable and says viewers chatting along disliked it. Between leaks and an IGN preview, most of Kingdom was already known. New this weekend were core class Vertebreak, another Fossilizer, and a core class Optimus Prime that one host may impulse buy. Optimus Primal was also new. Kingdom art shows the Ark’s robot mode will be the Last Autobot from the late Marvel comics. The crew loves that such an unlikely toy exists, though some wish it looked like Animated Omega Supreme. John Warden showed Cyclonus with no backpack and a clean jet mode. One host hopes the bluer TakaraTomy sample is what ships. Insiders say Polar Claw and Gears appear in the art but were cut. RFC Extra 050 covers PulseCon in more depth. [Source: GeekTyrant]
Transformers Prime 10th Anniversary Pricing Revealed
Preorders revealed a $40 price for the War Breakdown and Vehicon two-pack, far below the crew’s guesses. A Hades Megatron, the Arms Micron release of the Prime Voyager Megatron mold, is just $30. The two-pack quickly pre-sold out on Hasbro Pulse and then came back. One host who never liked Prime pre-ordered two. [Source: Hasbro Pulse]
Galactic Odyssey Part Three: Autobot Clones
Hasbro skipped part two and showed part three of the Galactic Odyssey Collection, the Autobot clones. John Warden says they have a unique deco, slightly shinier red than past Hasbro versions. They are due on Amazon by December. Ratchet and Lifeline are arriving much earlier than solicited, which hurts with so much else shipping. [Source: GeekTyrant]
G1 Megatron Returns as a Water Pistol
TakaraTomy is releasing a realistic Walther P-38 water pistol with G1 Megatron’s accessories, for about 6,200 yen. The crew wants one but fears customs would confiscate it, and an Australian friend would also face a fine. A silver cover slides over the red fill port, so it looks right on a shelf. Combiner Wars Devastator Reissue
Ausformers broke news of a 2015 Combiner Wars Devastator reissue as a global Amazon exclusive, with 300 units for Amazon Australia. The crew expects Hasbro molds and a price of about $150 to $160, likely timed to Prime Day. Ausformers also teased another limited Amazon exclusive before Hasbro US asked them to hold it. One host advises a third-party foot for Mixmaster. [Source: TFormers]
What We Got This Week
Rob
Rob got the Quintesson Pit of Judgment. It is worth it just for the Judge’s pre-applied faces. The Bailiff differs from Allicon in the head, shoulders and chest, though his screws face forward in robot mode. The Prosecutor’s head is loose on his copy, and Kranix stays in the box so he does not get lost. He also got Allicon and Double Crosser, which holds together better in platform mode than Sound Barrier.
Don
Don filled Masterpiece holes with knockoffs, including Tigertrack, Targetmaster Hot Rod and a boxed set of Dinobots for his planned Dinobot shelf. He also got Mech Fans Toys’ Kup redone as Orion Pax and found Chromia at Ross for $5. His big pickup is the LeBron-colored Optimus Prime he mentioned last week, plus a cel-shaded G1 version with light-up eyes, $102 for both.
Matt
Matt got two Quintesson Judges and adores them, with trouble on just one face out of four. He also got two Centurion drones from Hasbro Pulse. One was missing its gun and the Megatron pistol from its accessory pack, and he has contacted customer service.
Chris
Chris got two Centurion drones at $19.99 each, with a third coming from Hey Mickey. The Brunt mold is his least favorite Weaponizer, yet he owns more of it than any other. He worries about the accessory pack’s black-painted clear plastic, like the Ravage cage and Megatron’s mace. He calls the pack about 85% of the way there and would like Hasbro to try again.
Diecast
Diecast got the Quintesson Pit of Judgment and loves the Sharktocon waiting at the bottom. He prefers the retail Quintesson Judge but wants more Bailiffs. His Hothouse finally arrived from Entertainment Earth, and he loves the vibrant colors.
John
John got the Centurion drones and taped the tiny Optimus Prime inside the box so it cannot slip out of the bag. He also found a 1986 Hasbro line art catalog, the source of the black-and-white toy art in newspaper ads, and plans to digitize it. His Masterpiece Tigatron is far less frustrating than Cheetor thanks to bigger parts, though it took an hour. He advises checking the stripes and using a YouTube video instead of the instructions.
Brian
Brian got a complete Centurion and found the reissue Blaster at Walmart. He also picked up a child’s G1 Optimus Prime Halloween costume to hang up, and Masterpiece Starscream once Target cut the price in half. His last pickup is a mint-on-card G2 Hubcap.
