TakaraTomy brings back Abominus in Generations Selects with new combiner hands, Turtler’s big rifle and a shield chest plate, for 22,000 yen. Color images of Masterpiece Starscream Ver. 2.0 surface, and a Generations Selects Earthrise Barricade leaks. New photos show the Netflix Nemesis Prime spoiler pack now completes the Power of the Primes accessories. Diecast shows off his new Unicron tattoo, and Walmart sends him essential oils instead of an Allicon.
Diecast’s Unicron Tattoo
Diecast got his Unicron tattoo, which closely resembles the HasLab Unicron head art. It took about three hours, and his livestream of the session drew 20 copyright claims for the shop’s background music. He was already leaning toward it when he made a bet that he would get it if HasLab Unicron funded. One host recalls a friend who showed off his Autobot tattoo at BotCon 2001.

Abominus Returns in TakaraTomy Generations Selects
TakaraTomy’s Abominus box set adds the newest combiner hands, a copy of Turtler’s large rifle and a new shield that attaches as a chest plate. The changes focus on Hun-Gurrr’s deco and the accessories rather than the limbs. One host wants it badly. Another prefers his Power of the Primes Terrorcons and would not rebuy them. At 22,000 yen in a plain Selects box, one host says he would rebuy the Dinobots set first. The crew expects Hasbro Pulse to pick it up within days. [Source: BWTF]
Siege Sound Blaster with a Mercenary Insignia
A Sound Blaster on the Siege Soundwave mold surfaced alongside Abominus. It looks like Walmart’s Sound Blaster with less battle damage, a Mercenary faction logo and a Laserbeak instead of Buzzsaw. One host would rather wait for a Sound Blaster on the new Netflix Soundwave remold. [Source: not found]
Color Images of Masterpiece Starscream Ver. 2.0
Color images of Masterpiece Starscream Ver. 2.0 show accessories including a purple display stand, blast effects, a Megatron pistol, option faces and his null rays. Some retailers are taking speculative preorders before official ones open. One host recalls a Robotech preorder that came in at twice the expected price, and the crew explains how retailers handle price changes. Nobody can work out the extra hinges on the wings yet. New Photos of the Netflix Nemesis Prime Spoiler Pack
New photos show the Netflix Siege Nemesis Prime spoiler pack now completes the Power of the Primes Nemesis Prime loadout, a good deal since that figure has climbed to about $100. The crew still wishes it used the Earthrise mold or TakaraTomy’s Siege Nemesis deco. The wrist blasters look ridiculous at Voyager scale. One host theorizes that Walmart’s delays mean the next Netflix and red figures will arrive in pre-Christmas display shippers. [Source: not found]
Generations Selects Earthrise Barricade Leaked
A Facebook group leak shows a TakaraTomy Generations Selects Barricade on the Earthrise Datsun mold. One host suspects it was a canceled Netflix wave three product that TakaraTomy picked up. He expects Hasbro Pulse to offer it once it is available. The crew loves the G1-style Barricade, though one host misses the Siege version’s purple windows. [Source: not found]
What We Got This Week
Diecast
Walmart sent Diecast a box of essential oils instead of his Allicon, which other fans have also reported. Feeling short on Transformers while Amazon orders lagged, he also got Earthrise Megatron from Amazon.
Chris
Chris got five Earthrise Battle Master Double Crossers, finishing out the Battle Master size class. At Ross he found the Target exclusive Hot Rod and Sharkticons for $12.99 each. He notes Tiny Turbo Changers wave four adds the Sharkticon mold. His Quintesson Pit of Judgment is still sealed, and he slightly prefers the retail Judge’s colors.
Don
Don got Earthrise Smokescreen from Amazon, his favorite Datsun brother, and Masterpiece Tigatron. He added G-Creation’s Dust, a Smokescreen recolor, and the Quintesson Pit of Judgment, which he plans to keep sealed. From Chosen Prime he got Fans Hobby Double Evil to stand with his Thunderclash-colored Power Baser, plus a third-party Arcee. He also bought six Slitherfangs.
Matt
Matt calls the Quintesson Pit of Judgment the best convention set ever. He bought a second from Toy Dojo’s eBay store so he can keep one sealed and open the other.
Rob
Rob got Hothouse and is glad to have the Airwave mold again as a fire station. He also got Slitherfang through Chris’s Amazon link. The Micromaster Astro Squad has a hip molding error that lets a leg fall off, so he is done with Earthrise Micromasters.
John
John added Hasbro’s 1989 line art catalog to last week’s 1986 edition. It includes full newspaper ad layouts for Transformers, G.I. Joe, COPS, Maxie and even Nintendo, and he plans to scan both.
Brian
Brian got the Micromaster Astro Squad, the Quintesson Pit of Judgment and two more Quintessons. Masterpiece Tigatron is waiting to be opened. He loves Earthrise Smokescreen and calls Runabout amazing. He also got a seemingly unopened Unite Warriors Lynxmaster and a Halloween Disney Label Donald Duck from Singapore. His oddest find is an unlicensed Transformers coloring book shipped by Amazon. Movie Masterpiece Ratchet also arrived today.
