Studio Series 100 turns out to be another Bumblebee, revealed alongside Studio Series 99 Battletrap. A mystery Transformers Collaborative called Project Bear has the crew guessing everything from Cocaine Bear to Teddy Ruxpin. Leaked 2024 Legacy listings bring Tigerhawk, Sandstorm, Thundertron and Silverbolt, and the first Rise of the Beasts trailer gets a mixed verdict. In the haul, Matt reviews a stack of Legacy deluxes and Diecast brings home Holiday Optimus Prime.

HasLab Deathsaurus Funds and Unlocks Its First Tier
HasLab Deathsaurus has funded and hit its first unlock, with about 2,300 backers to go for the next one before Monday’s close. The crew does not expect Victory Saber numbers, which sit around 26,000. They point to inflation, the Christmas timing and a less famous character. One host thinks a March launch, near tax refund season, would have done better. Another says Hasbro now runs too many HasLabs. One host notes that Hasbro now has a dedicated HasLab team, starting with Deathsaurus. [Source: Hasbro Pulse]
Studio Series 100 Is Bumblebee, With 99 Battletrap
Hasbro revealed Studio Series 99 Voyager Battletrap and Studio Series 100 Deluxe Bumblebee from Rise of the Beasts. One host finds Bumblebee fitting for the 100th entry, if not thrilling. Battletrap is the crowd favorite, though one host balks at a reported $35.99 Voyager price. JTPrime warned the Discord that Battletrap is short-packed with no reship scheduled, so one host is preordering on Hasbro Pulse. The crew then debates shelf space. Delayed mainline movie toys now land alongside Studio Series. One host with retail experience suggests floor displays, and another jokes that some of it will end up at Ollie’s. [Source: Screen Rant]
Rise of the Beasts Trailer Arrives
The first Rise of the Beasts trailer gets a mixed but mostly positive reaction. One host calls the Optimus Primal and Optimus Prime standoff absurd. Another is let down that Primal’s big robot reveal only shrinks his head. Beasts at G1 robot scale bother one host, who compares Cheetor to a 15-foot cheetah. Arcee gets praise for having real character, and the movie reads as a spiritual successor to Bumblebee. One host reminds everyone that trailer scenes have no context yet. JTPrime jokes in Discord that Cheetor is based on the Supreme toy just for Don. [Source: BWTF]
Upcoming Collaborative: Project Bear
A new Transformers Collaborative listing called Project Bear surfaced, at about $65 Canadian per JTPrime. That price suggests a Voyager or Leader. Guesses include Cocaine Bear, Winnie the Pooh, Build-A-Bear and a Teddy Ruxpin that takes cassettes. The crew admits it will be nothing they predicted, just like Project Jam. [Source: TFW2005 boards]
Chris reads through leaked listings from JTPrime and Hyper Shauta, which suggest Universe as Legacy’s year-three subtitle. Leaders include Beast Wars Tigerhawk and G1 Sandstorm. Voyagers include Animated Optimus Prime, Prime Thundertron, Cyber Starscream and Beast Wars Silverbolt. One host notes the Thundertron mold became a Leo Prime in Japan. A capsule Leader G2 Grimlock is also listed. Some would rather have smaller G2 Dinobots, and one host wants Alternators-style homages someday. JTPrime adds that a listed Leader Optimus is not the Laser Prime reissue. [Source: TFW2005 boards]
Deluxe Medix Holiday Exclusive Surfaces
A fully decoed Deluxe Medix appeared in hand, apparently a holiday exclusive. One host points out that it adapts the BotCon customizing class Medix rather than the Rescue Bots character. The crew recalls John’s BotCon customizing class figures and their aftermarket prices. [Source: Sonic Bomber Core]
New photos show Legacy Tarn and Leo Prime. Everyone agrees Tarn looks great. Leo Prime splits the crew, with one host liking the head sculpt and another preferring the Robot Masters version. [Source: Facebook]

Brian thanks listeners for the Elf on a Shelf Warmer toy drive, with one week left. He asks people to donate locally where they can.
What We Got This Week
Don
Don’s wife gave him an Optimus Prime insulated mug with his handle on it. A collector named Nathaniel sent a loose Shattered Glass Megatron. A tip led him to Walmart’s red Shockwave and red Galvatron. From the Hasbro Pulse sale he got a Prime Optimus Prime for about $18, Canine to pair with Wolfang, and Shattered Glass Blaster. A Target price error brought Armada Starscream down to about $13. His Zeta Toys Masterpiece Seekers arrived with both intakes broken off, so he is contacting the retailer.
Diecast
Diecast got discounted BotBots, including a Megatron-like gun, the turkey and the Autobot symbol. He also got Holiday Optimus Prime, Fans Hobby’s large Energon Optimus Prime tribute and X-Transbots Ultra Magnus. A mystery button on Magnus’s back has the crew guessing about a cut light feature. He also got a Fans Toys Mindwipe figure for bat mode.
Matt
Matt likes Galaxy Shuttle much better once transformed. Holiday Optimus Prime is a keeper, though one drone arm shows slight discoloration. Studio Series 86 Ironhide won’t peg together in van mode, but he is mostly happy with it. He likes Legacy Pointblank despite fiddly legs and side steps that pop off. A Nonnef kit is coming for it. He fixed Crankcase’s rear wheels by widening the pinholes. The chest still flaps loose. Dead End’s Combiner Wars-style legs keep the car from closing. Magnificus is fine as a black Perceptor with a new face-plated head.
Chris
Chris got Magnificus. He appreciates the nod to Microman Perceptor colors and plans to retire his Studio Series Perceptor.
Rob
Rob’s pickup this week was not Transformers.
Brian
Brian got Galaxy Shuttle, which he calls okay and hasn’t opened yet, and Beast Wars Monopoly.
