Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is reportedly replacing Megan Fox in Transformers 3, and the crew is unimpressed with either choice. Club magazine 33 shows War for Cybertron Soundwave and Generations Red Alert, and Takara’s Universe Unicron surfaces. Stan Bush is a BotCon 2010 guest but won’t join the Hall of Fame. Ironhide1975 returns for this live show, the crew picks winners in the RFC May giveaway, and the panel debates which combiner team members deserve solo toys.
BotCon Plans
RFC will have a table at BotCon and plans to record from the floor, streaming live if the crew can find internet access. Brian will drive down through Atlanta and ride with Rob and Kristen. Brian is bringing a mixer and microphones.

Club Magazine 33 Shows War for Cybertron Soundwave and Generations Red Alert
Transformers Collectors Club magazine 33 has photos of War for Cybertron Soundwave and Generations Red Alert, plus a correctly transformed War for Cybertron Megatron. Rob is a sucker for Soundwave but thinks the War for Cybertron look is a little turtle-like. The issue also has an article on Takara’s 2010 line by Jim Sorenson. This Day in History
JD, back after a failed house purchase, notes that the trade paperback of Devil’s Due’s G.I. Joe vs. the Transformers volume 2 came out in 2005. The crew prefers volume 2 to volume 1 and calls the Dreamwave crossover worse than both.
RFC May Giveaway Winners
Brian draws winners before the show. IWROC84 on Twitter wins the Transformers Animated Arcee. Richard Fieldhouse on Facebook wins a $25 Big Bad Toy Store gift certificate. Primus Prankster on Twitter wins the $50 Big Bad Toy Store gift certificate.
Breaking Up the Band
XV’s topic: which combiner team members should get solo toys, like Swindle in Transformers Animated and Onslaught in Universe? Picks include Hot Spot, Dead End in a buddy movie with Swindle, First Aid, Blades and the Constructicons. One host wants the Metroplex add-ons Slammer and Scamper as a BotCon set. The crew agrees the best picks are characters with enough personality to want more, which rules out the Seacons.
Wrap-Up
Brian plugs RFC’s sister shows: Fanboy Versus, Superhero Time, Outside the Cage and New Soundwave. He asks listeners to subscribe on iTunes or by RSS and promises free high-fives at the RFC booth at BotCon.
