Masterpiece Ironhide Shown at Expo Taipei

New images from an Expo Taipei event show Masterpiece Ironhide and his accessories. The crew still is not sold. Reports now say the battle platform is not part of the van mode, so the hip panels stay on the robot. The crotch piece still looks too large to most of the crew. Nobody has seen a photo of the hip panels swinging to the back. [Source: not found]

Official Photos of MP-25 Masterpiece Tracks

Official photography shows MP-25 Tracks with his full contents and paperwork. The crew loves the shade of blue and cannot find a flaw. A second face appears among the parts. Combiner Wars Wave 4 Deluxes and Optimus Maximus In Hand

In-hand photos show the Wave 4 deluxes that form Optimus Maximus: Prowl, Sunstreaker, Mirage and Ironhide. The new head sculpts mostly look good, though Ironhide’s does not. Someone has counted that the Dead End mold has now been reused even more than Alpha Bravo. Prowl uses the Streetwise mold, a crew favorite. Rob will review the whole wave for TFormers. Collectors’ Club Reveals Subscription Service Impactor

Impactor, a repaint of the Rook mold, is the sixth Subscription Service 4.0 figure. The seventh will be another Deluxe. Matt, a Wreckers fan, wants it as limbs for his combiner torso. The crew speculates the last figure could be Guzzle on the Brawl mold. Mastermind Creations’ Spartan remains the more accurate Impactor. [Source: TFormers]

Toys R Us Raises Devastator’s Price

Toys R Us raised Titan Class Devastator to $159.99 after about a week and a half on shelves. Amazon is now cheaper, with free shipping. [Source: not found]

TFCon Toronto Third-Party Panel

Exvee’s TFormers article collects the TFCon Toronto third-party panel. Mastermind Creations showed silhouettes of Masterpiece-style Starscream, Megatron, Darkwing and Dreadwind. Carnifex, a giant Overlord homage, comes in a box as big as Masterpiece Star Saber’s. One host calls it the most realistic way for most fans to own an Overlord. Also shown were DX9’s Legends-scale Megatron, Mastermind Creations’ Alpha and Beta, TFC’s Liokaiser and Planet X’s Fall of Cybertron Grimlock. MakeToys Shows Rear End and a Cyclonus Upgrade

MakeToys posted color photos of Rear End, its Tailgate homage from More Than Meets the Eye. It includes a panicked spare head and damaged legs from Tailgate’s first appearance. It also includes parts to turn Universe Cyclonus into his More Than Meets the Eye design. One host calls it a must-buy and notes Nonnef Productions has moved its own kit to the Combiner Wars Voyager.
