Titans Return Arcee heads to Toys “R” Us on October 5, and the Radio Free Cybertron crew preps for TFcon. Transformers Authentics leaks show Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Starscream and Megatron, while Last Knight Cogman’s case assortment disappoints. MakeToys drops the price of Galaxy Meteor, and Imaginarium Art asks $1,200 for a Coronation Starscream statue. Chris also explains why he owns 14 copies of Transformers: The Last Knight on home video.
TFcon and the 18th Anniversary
Most of the crew will be at TFcon this weekend. Brian plans a small viewing party there to record an episode of What’s Happened to the Headmasters, and will tweet the details. The show’s 18th anniversary episode is a few weeks away. Its contest prize is a Titans Return Arcee autographed by Don.
Transformers: The Last Knight on Home Video
Don defends The Last Knight, crediting Isabela Moner’s opening scenes. Others in the crew call the final battle dull and say Cybertron looks like a rock quarry. The Target exclusive release includes the Combiner Wars animated series and extra bonus content. The crew plans to record a commentary for the movie.
This Week in History
In 1992, Headmasters episode 11, “King of Shadows, Scorponok”, aired in Malaysia. Brian plans to catch What’s Happened to the Headmasters up to the original air dates. In 2006, BotCon customizing class check-in began. The crew remembers BotCon 2006 Dawn of Future’s Past and 2007 Games of Deception as the most loved Fun Publications box sets.

Transformers Authentics Starscream and Megatron Official Photography Leaked
Starscream and Megatron show more ball joints, so the crew guesses they sit one price point higher. A hole in the back of Megatron’s leg sparks debate over photo editing versus tank-mode engineering. If they are cheap, one host may buy them. [Source: TFormers]
The Last Knight Premier Edition Cogman: The Legend Continues
Wave 4 cases carry two Cogman figures alongside Barricade and Berserker. The rest are reshipped Bumblebee, Crosshairs and Strafe. The Takara Tomy version fans were counting on is delayed indefinitely. Brian starts a #GetCogmanMade hashtag on the RFC Twitter account. [Source: TFormers]
Galaxy Meteor Lives! MakeToys Announces Price Drop on MTRM-10 Unofficial Cybertron Starscream
Galaxy Meteor drops to $99.99, and one host plans to buy one once he can spare the money. The crew urges everyone who posted #GetMakeToysMade to follow through. They also note everyone involved reportedly took a smaller margin. That leads to a Galaxy Force wish list, including Vector Prime, Hot Shot, Primus and Don’s pick, Downshift. [Source: TFormers]
Transformers G1 Autobot Base and Cybertronian Carrier Base Designs
Jack posted G1 concept art, including a mountain with the Ark beneath it. The crew wonders whether a third party could make a modular playset. One host pitches a cardboard playset for the smaller-scale third-party figures. Brian adds that Micro Legends Shockwave is too pricey for him at $180. One host who tracks the market puts it closer to $60 to $80. [Source: TFormers]

The Golden Gun: MP-36 Megatron New Lucky Draw Masterpiece Release
The crew respects lucky draw collectors for preserving rare promotions. Gold-chromed variants do little for most of them, though. One host’s only lucky draw want was Blackfire Convoy, which took him years to find at a fair price. Diecast’s long-promised video of burning a knockoff Kronos is coming soon. [Source: TFormers]
Imaginarium Art Shows Off Coronation Starscream Statue in New Photo Shoot
The Coronation Starscream statue costs $1,200, and the crew cannot see paying that. They ask statue collectors to explain the appeal by voicemail, email or Twitter. [Source: TFormers]
The crew finds it visually striking, with a super-robot look. They question the need for it after the official God Ginrai and Godbomber. The price on air is unclear, somewhere around $209 to $299. [Source: TFormers]
Iron Factory War Giant Attackers Set: Color Photos of Legends-Scale Unofficial Swindle and Brawl
The crew loves these, and the combined Bruticus photos look highly posable. One host would rather have this than any other third-party combiner because it fits his space. Talk turns to Battle Gaia and Guardian City from Operation Combination. [Source: TFormers]
Unique Toys Unofficial Combaticon Project Not-Onslaught Color Sample Photos
The crew is not buying. It looks boring next to the Iron Factory version, like a custom made from a Titans Return Overlord. [Source: TFormers]
Last Knight One-Step Wave 3
A listener reports Last Knight One-Step Changers wave 3 at Toys “R” Us in New York. The crew finds them too big and awkward, though Don sees the appeal of simple toys for kids.
