There might still be a couple $10 toys we don’t know yet. But what looks like virtually the entire regular retail offering for Kingdom, the concluding installment in the War For Cybertron Trilogy Generations lineup, has been discovered in Walmart’s inventory data, thanks largely to the work of Jtprime17 on TFW2005. A user by the name Notomus has also been sharing information found within Target’s systems, and between the two what we’re seeing looks pretty complete for main line content. We’re currently looking at a list of 30 toys across four price points. Since we’re missing solid word on the Commander and Titan Class figures, as well as being able to presume there are more unlisted or undiscovered toys at the lowest price point “Core Class”, we can probably expect around 40 or so toys for the general retail offerings in Kingdom. Here’s what we have so far.

-Megatron
-Starscream
-RattrapDeluxes
-Cheetor

A few items have been cited as repackaged, unchanged figures from this year, including Leader Optimus Prime, Voyager Starscream, and Deluxe Wheeljack and Arcee, based on the account of at least one individual with seemingly credible awesome insider info. Whether repacks should be seen as worse than getting brand new iterative updates of some of these characters like we typically have every line is up to the individual fan to decide.
This does most likely represent almost everything that all retailers will have the opportunity to carry for product year 2021, but it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s absolutely everything. It’s my personal suspicion that we may have had an unusual number of retailer exclusives and Selects offerings this year, and that we may not see quite as many for the next label refresh, but there will definitely be some. Plus, strong rumors are pointing to a repeat of what happened in Generations in the 2010/2011 line, where product was split across standard Generations, and the Reveal The Shield imprint which used the still-active movie toyline SKUs, effectively doubling the amount of same-style product Hasbro was able to move through stores. Studio Series 86 has a very similar appearance about it, using a movie label to “sneak” some extra G1 out. And so far we don’t know nearly as much about that. For now.
For much more in-depth discussion of this product list, you can listen to RFC Extra 049, The Emergency Kingdom Leakcast which we recorded shortly after the information was released.
But we’ve also had another set of entries datamined out of Walmart’s inventory system. So far four entries have been uncovered for a Headmasters Assortment. No specific names, or even prices have been found as yet. Besides the bare existence of these, the only further information at the moment comes from the again seemingly-reliable inside info source. According to that, these are to be rereleases of Titans Return Deluxes, in new G1-inspired packaging. Reportedly they did not appear to be changed from the original toys. But at least in the case of a toy like Wolfwire/Weirdwolf, a rerelease would probably be welcome, as that toy had a pretty widespread breakage issue develop relatively quickly after it was first released.
While we won’t be having New York Comic Con this year, we can and should expect Hasbro to be planning a product reveal presentation or two for the same approximate time that their fan media event would normally have been. Taking last NYCC as an example, we’ll probably get our first look at Kingdom wave 1, as well as things like Studio Series 86 and these Headmaster rereleases at that time. Or, more likely, pictures will get leaked out in the next couple of weeks. But we can always hope, right?
