First Look at Transformers Rise Starscream and Bumblebee 2-Pack
Two-pack listings show Starscream and Bumblebee, with an official reveal planned for November 14. The designs differ from the early game renders. One host points out the toys were developed about five years ago. One host likes Bumblebee’s off-road buggy mode and IDW-flavored robot. Another thinks they look like less than Hasbro’s best effort. The crew is skeptical the game will ever come out, and Brian digs up his BotCon 2012 Transformers Universe bracelet. [Source: TFW2005]

One host hates the name Frankentron. Another calls it a perfectly fine use of the mold but does not need it. [Source: TFW2005]

Takara Tomy Shows Legacy United Silverbolt With Kingdom Blackarachnia
A Takara Tomy photo pairs Silverbolt with Kingdom Blackarachnia in perfect scale. One host says it will look great on his shelf. Another still finds Silverbolt’s hips distractingly wide, and the wings look too small to flip over the shoulders. [Source: TakaraTomy on X]
Rise of the Beasts Battle Cubes
Rise of the Beasts Battle Cubes look like Battle Beasts crossed with Under 3, with a rock-paper-scissors style element system and an app. The crew decides it must be a licensed product. One host says that means Hasbro took a check rather than inventing it. [Source: TFW2005 forums]
TFCon Orlando 2023 Exclusives: Ocular Max RMX-15 Vivace and a Fans Hobby Predator Jet
The show notes joke that Don will be sad to miss this, since the Ocular Max Remix cassette is a black Voltron lion. A Fans Hobby jet in green Predator colors is also exclusive. With help from the Discord, the crew identifies it as Falcon and admits they are not equipped to catch a Predator. One host wishes Hasbro would redo Dreadwind and Darkwing as larger Powermasters. What We Got This Week
Chris
Chris replaced his discoloring G-Axis with a $12.99 Amazon copy, which has not yellowed yet. He also got Studio Series 86 Frenzy, the red Rumble repaint. It works like his Rumble, but its extra accessories have nowhere to go.
Matt
Matt found Legacy Shrapnel at Walmart. He also got Legacy Nova Prime for about $38 on Amazon and calls it the first use of the mold he actually likes.
Rob
Rob finally got Legacy Evolution Twincast, cheaper than US retail, and loves the blue Blaster deco. He also got Legends Blurr for $20, which he prefers to Studio Series 86 Blurr. His big pickups are a used Car Robots Black Convoy for about $100 boxed and a Transmetals Megatron for about $70. He says Black Convoy still holds up as a great toy.
Diecast
Diecast had nothing in Transformers this week.
Brian
Brian got Beast Wars Second Hellscream. He also found a South American Robot Man X, a Top Spin redeco on a G2-style card.
