Studio Series Last Knight Megatron leads this week’s Transformers preorders on There Goes My Money. Brian Kilby and Diecast cover Hasbro’s first 2027 Studio Series wave and two Walmart Collectors Con exclusives. Don Ferguson, Alpha Magnus, David and Shawn join the panel, and Jen (Trixter) makes her first There Goes My Money appearance.

The preorder window ran October 4 to October 18, 2026. Prices are in U.S. dollars, before shipping and tax.

Transformers Preorders

Hasbro Studio Series 2027 Wave 1

Preorders opened October 13 at Hasbro Pulse. Everything ships around February 1, 2027.

• Studio Series Leader Class The Last Knight Megatron: $59.99. This new mold adds a dragon mode from the film’s concept art. The panel notes it’s priced as a Leader but sized to replace the old Voyager.
• Studio Series Leader Class The Transformers: The Movie Dinobot Swoop: $59.99. Swoop returns, and Shawn admits he already owns six. Oops, all Swoops.
• Studio Series Voyager Class Transformers (2007) Autobot Ratchet: $42.99. This new mold finally fixes the old figure’s backpack rack. Don can’t tell what else improved.
• Studio Series Deluxe Class Transformers (2007) Autobot Jazz: $29.99 at TFSource and Hasbro Pulse. This reissues the 2018 mold, which sold for about $20.
• Studio Series Deluxe Class Transformers One Shockwave: $29.99. David calls this brand-new Transformers One Shockwave a must-buy.
• Studio Series Deluxe Class The Transformers: The Movie Allicon: $29.99. Allicon returns for army builders who missed it the first time.
• Studio Series Deluxe Class The Transformers: The Movie Autobot Wheelie: $29.99. Wheelie trades his retro card for a new deco. Brian likes it better; Don doesn’t.

Along the way, the panel debates whether Hasbro is running old molds into the ground. They also ask why the stock photos keep showing mistransformed figures, and whether anyone still needs more movie toys.

Walmart Collectors Con Retro G1 Exclusives

Preorders opened October 8 at Walmart. Both list an April 1, 2027 release.

• Retro G1-Inspired Deluxe Decepticon Bug Bite: $27.97. Don thinks it looks terrible and ordered one anyway.
• Retro G1-Inspired Deluxe Decepticon Exhaust: $27.97. Exhaust gets the same retro card treatment.
