Let’s see how that transforms!

Loopaza Mega Store has once again shared interior pages from Figure King magazine, giving us a look at the Transformers content for this month.

The new Masterpiece Starscream is undoubtedly the star of this show, taking up the first two pages of the section. The photos finally start to hint at how aspects of the transformation works, including what those odd hinges on the wings are actually for. It turns out that the jet’s vertical stabilizers actually get shifted up and away from the legs, being wrapped around and hidden by the wings, hence the need for hinges that until now served no clear purpose. As for what other surprises this thing’s engineering may hold, we’ll just have to wait until the coming months for that.

The rest of the Transformers feature is mostly War For Cybertron based, with a full page for Kingdom, a page and a half divided among various Netflix and Earthrise-related items that will be hitting TakaraTomy Mall, and the last page showing off the new version of Abominus, Leadfoot, and the Megatron water pistol that will probably get you in trouble if you try to import it.
