Masterpiece Skywarp Preorders

Masterpiece Skywarp went up for preorder through fan channel retailers at about $226, shipping around the end of the year. It shares Starscream’s engineering and reportedly comes with Starscream’s coronation gear. The crew is nervous about Masterpiece Seeker complexity. [Source: not found]

RFC News Desk 137 – Amazon Australia Leaks

An excited Australian kid posted a video of new Amazon Australia listings. A Galvatron Unicron figure pack looks like a purple Kingdom Galvatron redeco representing the reformatting scene. The crew hopes it avoids clear plastic. A Sideswipe and Nightprowler pack likely pairs an Earth mode Sideswipe with a Cheetor redeco of the cancelled Halloween Horrorcons Nightprowler. A Shattered Glass subline includes Blur, Goldbug, Jetfire and Megatron. The Golden Disk Collection adds Voyager Tigatron, likely in prototype orange, and Deluxe Jackpot. Project Park looks like a Jurassic Park T-Rex, and Project Bat is reportedly Dracula. A Leader Generations Prime Optimus Prime also appears. A $80 Worlds Collide Target four-pack and a RedCard T-Wrecks Megatron redeco round it out. [Source: TFRadio]

IGN Previews Kingdom Galvatron, Scorponok, And The Ark

IGN previewed Titan Class Ark ahead of Fan Fest at $149.99. The robot mode echoes The Last Autobot, and Teletraan-1 comes as a separate figure that looks like Mainframe. The crew loves it, though one host dislikes the gaps where the legs store in ship mode. Several hosts plan to buy more than one Ark. Kingdom Galvatron got official photos with its coaxial guns and Matrix, though one host dislikes the battle damage. Scorponok’s tail reaches past its head, but the crew worries about its robot mode. Hasbro Pulse Fan Fest Preview

Hasbro sent Brian a box for Pulse Fan Fest that includes Kingdom Paleotrex. Brian will be part of the fan room during the Transformers presentation. Pulse Premium members also get a Thursday evening mixer. Diecast reports that Hasbro customer service told him his Unicrons are late because he ordered two in one order.

What We Got This Week

Matt got Generations Selects Deep Cover and loves the black, white and royal blue deco with no battle damage. He ordered about $50 of Nonnef spoilers for his Lamborghini molds.

Rob got the Nonnef upgrade kit for Studio Series Grimlock with the red sword. The chest piece and crown fit well, though the sword halves need trimming.

Diecast ordered a case of Netflix War for Cybertron Deluxes from Walmart and got one of each. Walmart cancelled his Headmasters order. He also found Kingdom Ultra Magnus and got Generations Selects Deep Cover from Pulse.

Don used a Target sale for Core Class Optimus Prime and later found Core Class Megatron and Starscream. Kingdom Huffer’s robot mode is great, but its truck mode bows. He got Shattered Glass Optimus Prime and Ratchet for about $35 after points. Target also price-matched his Studio Series Dino and Cybertronian Bumblebee.

Chris reviewed last week’s Kingdom deluxes. Core Class Starscream has a clever transformation and a compact jet mode. Huffer bows in truck mode, likely from the cab tabs, which could be trimmed. Ractonite is fine, and Airazor is the wave’s winner, with original Beast Wars-style engineering.

John has barely touched his HasLab Unicron. He finds it too big and heavy, with limp panels in planet mode. He ordered the SDCC Knights of Unicron set to display alongside it.

Brian found a carded Robots in Disguise Spy Changer Mirage and a carded Universe Repugnus at McKay’s. Z75 Sales’ Mirage lot also yielded a pristine vintage G1 Soundwave, and he got a Beast Wars Microverse Predacon playset. Kiss Players arrivals led to an awkward talk with Kim. His big find is a Dairy Queen G2 Optimus Prime, which he chased for two years.
