Generations Selects G2 Megatron leaks early in a reviewer’s video, and the crew calls it just about perfect on the Earthrise mold. Selects Bug Bite becomes the second Transformers Tuesday reveal, and photos surface of the Studio Series 69 Devastator combiner pack. Target listings point to Studio Series Kup and Astrotrain, a new Masterpiece Bumblebee and an Ectotron rerun. Transformers Battlegrounds shows gameplay ahead of its October 23 release. Brian fills his last week before moving with Japanese G1 boxes, including a mint Super Ginrai.
Brian thanks Chris for hosting last week. Patrons are getting the new This Week in History on the fives podcast. A listener email asks for a regular segment on how market forces shape Transformers. Brian suggests reviving the RFC Mini-cast for that, and John is on board.

Generations Selects G2 Megatron Leaked
A Hasbro Asia-affiliated video reviewer showed G2 Megatron days before its expected Transformers Tuesday reveal. Brian says they found the only way to make him want the Earthrise mold. The only real complaint is that the tank front forms the chest. It has no electronics, and the crew notes Toyhax can supply the missing stickers. A listener asks whether it could be Megastorm instead, and one host notes Funbeast Studios makes Gigastorm-style horns for the mold. [Source: tfradio.net]
Generations Selects Bug Bite Revealed for the Second Transformers Tuesday
Bug Bite uses the Cliffjumper body instead of the Volkswagen parts. One host misses the purple tampos, and Matt still hates the new faction emblem. Another expects many more reshells of this mold, perhaps a Pulse set of Throttlebots. Unlike Hot House, Bug Bite is still available for preorder. [Source: tfradio.net]
First Look at Transformers Studio Series SS-69 Devastator Combiner Pack
Photos show all eight Revenge of the Fallen Constructicons in one pack with extra sand deco. A brief listing put it at $200 or more. One host says this is the only way he would ever get it. [Source: TFormers]
Transformers Battlegrounds Gameplay Previews and Box Art
One host watched some of the footage and found a turn-based strategy game aimed at a younger audience. It looks better than he expected. It arrives October 23 for about $40 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Switch. [Source: TFormers]
Transformers Earthrise Megatron Sighted at Washington Target
Vice Grip Axe was first to spot Earthrise Megatron, along with the Quintesson Judge, at Target in Washington state. A couple of hosts admit they would walk right past it, since it looks so much like Siege Megatron. [Source: TFormers]

Leaked Transformers Kingdom, Studio Series 1986, Masterpiece and More Possible Listings
Rob walks through Target listings found by a TFW2005 member. They point to Thrust at Target and Studio Series Kup, Astrotrain, Slag and Daniel. They also show a new Masterpiece Bumblebee at about $80 and Gigawatt at Target. A new run of Ectotron now lists at $59. Kingdom Tigatron and Hot Rod appear as Voyagers, and one host thinks Hot Rod may share tooling with a future Leader Rodimus Prime. [Source: TFormers]
What We Got This Week
Don
Don got Cyberverse Hot Rod before it gets hard to find, planning to sell the Maccadam part. He also found Thunderhowl and Wildwheel, plus the Cyberverse Seeker set for its G2-style colors.
Rob
Rob’s brother is learning 3D printing on Brian’s old printer. On topic, an anonymous friend sent Rob Earthrise Grapple with a note to watch the pegs. After filing them, he loves it, especially the leg articulation and the claw that holds Plank Masters.
Diecast
Diecast is 3D printing Funbeast Studios’ Skylynx shuttle booster and playset add-ons, which take days and break easily. He got Fans Toys Dune Runner, their Masterpiece-style Beachcomber, and prefers it to X-Transbots’ version. He also got the Nonnef upgrade kit for Exhaust and the Astro Squad Micromasters shuttle. His Coneheads set from Amazon is delayed.
Matt
Matt loves his Earthrise Coneheads, though the knee pads take getting used to and the heads look small. He has a second Skywarp and Thundercracker set on the way.
John
John had nothing this week.
Brian
Brian got Racetrack Patrol, more Kreo sets and the Coneheads. He got the Tiger Generation 2 handheld game and a Collectors’ Club Marissa Faireborn and Afterburner set. From Jack at TFormers, he got a die-cast Bandai Padlock Robo. He also got a sealed Knight Racer from the later 100-unit Whiz Bang run. His Japanese pickups include a boxed Victory Blacker, a Broadside and a Diver. His best find is a mint-in-box Super Ginrai with a die-cast cab.
