The official Transformers Instagram account shared a quick teaser video, recreating an iconic visual associated with the original Jurassic Park with an all-new animation that leads to the formation of the Collaborative logo for this project. We’d had signs of this coming previously, with “Project Park” being among a pile of listings found on Amazon Australia. This is our first direct, official acknowledgement of the crossover proceeding.
There’s very little detail being offered, not even a hint of when more will be revealed. But the instagram post does have a useful nugget. Among the tags on the post is Ford, which given the remaining context around it, gives impression of being one of the companies in this partnership. The 1992 Ford Explorer was used for the park vehicles in the movie, so we might be seeing a Transformer with a licensed alternate mode based on that as part of this set. Insider info has indicated that the Jurassic Park collab will be a two pack, so there should be more to this still, but we’ll probably need to wait a while before more details present themselves.
