Transformers Generations Selects Deluxe DK-2 Guard
The same Transformers Tuesday brought Selects DK-2 Guard, Ironhide repainted in the black Diaclone colors Matt has long wanted. The crew raves about the blue eyes and red face under the black helmet, and one host was relieved it had not sold out. The crew wonders why DK-1 got the name Spin-Out while DK-2 has no name. Chris explains it in the new Toy Detectives podcast for patrons. [Source: Hasbro Pulse]
New Authentics Arcee and Classic Heroes Team

IDW to Lose Transformers and G.I. Joe Licenses at End of 2022

No new home has been named, though Skybound was rumored in talks weeks earlier. The crew notes IDW has run three continuities in about 16 years. What We Got This Week
Diecast got his first Moon Studios Trainbot and his MS-01 Dark Knight, which arrived from Taobao with a gash in the box. The Trainbots link with magnetic connectors, and he wishes they came with track. He finally got Legacy Blaster, who looks great despite red paint around his face. He also got Fans Hobby’s Cab, whose free mini Perceptor came with a broken arm. Diecast also picked up Golden Disk Tigatron, a Voyager, plus Crimson Wing in Thundercracker colors and MMC’s G2 Vortex. He rounded it out with an X-Transbots motorcycle and three more Robot Paradise cassette sets.
Don found Coronation Starscream at Target the day before stores were announced to have it, and got it with another figure for about $40.
Rob got Slammer, but a common tolerance problem keeps the tank turret from staying together. He sees a good toy underneath and may try another copy.
Matt got one more Studio Series 86 figure that had been sitting at Walmart.
Brian bought every Botbots Series 5 set he found, 16 sets plus several blind packs. He also got Mutant Tigatron, an orange Tigatron with a mutant head, and he dislikes the realistic-animal Kingdom mold style.
